We have been following this story from some time now, and as Apple are evolving so as our knowledge of how things are falling into line for Apple regarding to its customer satisfaction and value for money of its devices. Apple is known for its capabilities because of “All should be of Apple’s” approach, which in past did haunted Apple a bit, but the approach is so far bringing some good results in the long run it seems. With launch of new iPad, Apple did manage to get away with that name “New iPad” as most of us were like is it iPad3 or just “New iPad”, but now it seems to be ok with us, as long as we have something good in our hands to develop for iPad Application Development and iPad Game Development.
So, what’s new? Well there is one thing that we think can change many things is new A5 chip, a Quad-core one. Yes, you read it right, “Quad-Core”. They named it A5X, where X should definitely mean times the performance than the previous chip. So, we took it on the ride to see how it performs, and what benefits we can have in the iPad App Development and iPad Game Development. Well we have to remember here that, though the chip is more powerful then its predecessor, the thing is it does have to power 4 times more pixel then of what an iPad 2 chip has to do. So we really were not sure, if it really can speed up the things than what we were using in iPad 2.
We loaded one of the games we are developing to see what difference we get from iPad 2. We were amazed by the quality of its resolution and how crispy our game video seemed, it was extra ordinary, though our video was Full HD, it seemed to be less of the resolution for new iPad. It does fit ok, but we were not happy with the quality of our video, but Full HD is what all things support right now, don’t they? So, having 1 million pixels more than any other devices won’t make Apple any good, because iPad Apps Development and iPad Game Development world does really do not contain or wish to proceed further then Full HD right now, as specially for video, with images it is ok.
I will provide more information on our views for new iPad with respect to our iPad Application Development and iPad Game Development experience. I hope this will help you understand the new device and its actual capabilities regarding to the content it will deliver to you.
